This workshop offers adults—especially parents of children attending the Paint and Peace programme in August a calm space for reflection, creativity, and connection. We begin by exploring the gentle wisdom of horses and how their steady breathing and powerful heart rhythms can influence and regulate the human nervous system, sometimes leading to synchronised breath and a sense of calm presence. Participants will then take part in a guided meditation and grounding practice to slow the body and mind. Afterwards, we will reflect on the experience through expressive painting, using colour and movement to explore feelings and insights in a relaxed, supportive, and creative environment.

Children with additional needs are invited to enjoy a gentle Sunday Nature Therapy and Horse Trail experience, with a maximum of 15 participants to ensure a calm and supportive environment. Children will begin with a relaxed horse-led nature walk, giving them the opportunity to connect with animals and the natural surroundings at a comfortable pace. Along the trail, we will notice the colours, textures, sounds, and scents of nature. After the walk, children will create nature-inspired crafts, responding to what they experienced. This therapeutic practice supports calmness, sensory awareness, creativity, and connection with nature in a safe and nurturing space.
